Scruffy was a 12 year old 6 pound yorkshire terrier who after a rough start in life went to live with the whitmire family in kansas city,i watched a programme about animal cruelty and what happened to this wee dog has never left me.Jose Gutierrez,Marcus Rodriguez,Richard Goubski,and Lance Arsenault lured this rescue dog from his home beat him, tortured him and finally set him on fire,but this wee fighter wouldnt give in poor Scruffy was finally killed with a garden spade. It took four men to kill this wee dog and he was a bigger man than them all.God Bless scruffy.xxx I have tried to upload some photos of scruffy for his memorial but sadly the only photo's i can get are taken from the video of his murder"these men taped what they did so they could watch it over and over again"and the photos are to upsetting.

For weary little paws of beasts

I Will Always Remember You Scruffy.
This is the one case of animal abuse I have NEVER forgotten. I saw it on American Justice, watched this horrible video of what these 4 men did to Scruffy. To this day I remember every detail. Today I revisited the case, and it was the first time I knew his age, 12. I wept, I wept, I wept. God, I hope those f-ckers get what's coming to them. I really do. I wish I could kill them myself.
I wish you Heaven and peace Scruffy. You are in my heart little love. See you soon.
